Ananda

This is a blissful, joyful, and playful class.

We will move at a little bit faster pace to warm the body, try new poses, cultivate heart opening with backbends and heart expansion poses.

Smile, laugh, play, feel good, and most importantly take yourself lightly.

Customized

This is a class designed for you and your current needs. you may come in looking to gain energy through practice, or maybe grounding and peace with more restorative poses. This is also a great for those who want me to intuitively create the flow for you so that you do not have to figure anything out. Just come onto the mat and allow me to guide you through a dynamic yoga sequence. The sky is the limit!

Root

A slow flow focusing inward to open the body up to possibilities. This class holds an emphasis on breathing deep to oxygenate the entire body, muscles, cells. Every part of us needs breath which is our life force, prana. While holding poses for a longer length of time than you may in a vinyasa flow class, The muscles fire up in new ways. While we break through the challenge of holding these postures we create muscle memory so that when we do the posture again we are able to go deeper and hold with a calm mentality.. it is through the fire that comes refinement. This class will change your body and your mentality, breaking through old habits.

Advanced

This is a two-hour practice. There will be an energetic warm up with a series of flows followed by balancing postures, and arm balances. we will then move into some deeper postures including binds inversions and any posture that you have always wanted to work on. Come ready to get a great workout and ready to try new things, you will walk out at the end feeling elated, buzzing with good energy that yoga always gives back to you.

METTA

The loving kindness flow. This is a calm, nurturing gentle flow that is designed to get your energy flowing so that old stagnant emotions and toxins can move through you yet give you the feeling of stability and comfort.. slowly, gently, mindful we set a tone for loving kindness to nurture ourselves and change our perception of others and our world around us to send loving kindness out from a genuine place in our hearts.

Deep stretch

This is not a Yin class but rather a series of dynamic stretching exercises followed by a series of sun salutations to warm the body.

It is important to use muscle engagement during active stretch, elongating the muscle and staying in control of how deep you go to meet your edge.

Guided Meditation

Slow down and access your subconscious theta brain waves easily with a guided meditation. Depending on your particular needs, I will custom tailor a visualization during your meditation to help you breakthrough to your next level of awareness and consciousness.

Sound Bath - Crystal Singing Bowl

Relax into the healing tones of crystal singing bowls. We are primed to receive the sound that crystal bowls make in our bodies because “we are water and our bones have a crystalline structure that creates an entrainment between sound and body.” Activate your chakras, organs, and organ systems using the vibration of crystals for your unique needs. This is an hour-long relaxation/meditation or you can add on 15 minutes to the end of your yoga class.
